GENERAL
DO I HAVE TO BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE?
Yes. Everyone must be 21 years or older to attend our event by law. Children, toddlers, and babies are not allowed inside the festival grounds.
DO PRICES INCREASE AT ANY TIME?
Yes, so buy now! At the end of Pre-Sale, prices increase by $10 and on the day of the event, they increase by another $10, both online and at our box office.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
No, children are NOT permitted within the festival space, this includes any Designated Drivers. Everyone who enters the event must be 21 years or older.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Pets are not allowed at our event. However, registered service animals are welcome with appropriate documentation.
HOW MANY SAMPLES DO I GET?
All General Admission and VIP patrons will receive a SSGB Tasting Glass for UNLIMITED tastings of Connecticut beer, cider, and liquor cocktails!
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE TICKET PRICE?
Access to the event, commemorative tasting glass, unlimited samples and a full live music concert! Food from food vendors and food trucks are not included.
WHEN IS LAST POUR?
Last call for drinks will be 15 minutes prior to the session’s conclusion. Serving will stop at the end of the session.
WHAT IS THE EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY?
SSGB Fest is RAIN OR SHINE. We have a full contingency plan in the event of rain.
DO YOU OFFER DESIGNATED DRIVER TICKETS?
YES, we do offer Designated Driver tickets. DD tickets are sold online before the day of the event for $28 and online and at our box office day-of for $38. All DD patrons must be 21 years or older to attend.
CAN DESIGNATED DRIVERS ATTEND VIP HOUR?
VIP hour is only for drinking guests. Session 2 DD patrons can enter the event at 6:30pm with Session 2 GA patrons.
I DO NOT HAVE A DRIVER’S LICENSE, WHAT OTHER DOCUMENTATION IS ACCEPTABLE PROOF OF AGE?
Other forms of acceptable proof of age include your passport or other state issued ID. No copies or paper IDs are accepted. All patrons must be 21 years or older and provide identification to enter.

DO YOU OFFER GROUP DISCOUNTS?
Yes! Discounts are available for groups purchasing 10+ tickets online before the event — please email contact@smallstategreatbeer.com for more information.
I ALREADY BOUGHT MY TICKET. CAN A DISCOUNT CODE BE APPLIED?
Discount codes must be applied at the time of purchase and cannot be applied retroactively.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A GENERAL ADMISSION AND VIP TICKET?
VIP tickets come with a larger tasting glass than the general admission ticket and allow you to enter the event an hour earlier.
CAN I CHANGE MY TICKETS TO SESSION 1 or SESSION 2?
Yes, tickets can be transferred to a different session. You must notify us 24hr before the event the day of the event, please email contact@smallstategreatbeer.com for the ticket change. We cannot transfer any ticket sessions day of, this is a strict policy.
CAN I UPGRADE MY GA TICKET TO VIP?
Yes, either Session 1 or Session 2 GA tickets can be upgraded to Session 2 VIP! Please email contact@smallstategreatbeer.com for more information. Additional fees will apply for upgrading from GA to VIP.
I LOST MY TICKET. CAN I GET IN WITH MY ID?
All tickets can still be accessed online on Eventbrite with your purchase email. If your order still does not come up, please email contact@smallstategreatbeer.com for additional assistance. If you arrive without a ticket your valid ID (21+) must match the name on the ticket to be granted entry to the event.
I DON’T DRINK BUT WOULD STILL LIKE TO ATTEND. DO YOU OFFER A NON-DRINKER TICKET?
Yes, Designated Driver tickets are available online and at our box office day-of.

Tickets can be purchased online on our website, in-person at specific events throughout the summer and day-of at our box office.
CT CRAFT BEER
A BREWERY THAT WAS ON YOUR WEBSITE WASN’T AT THE FESTIVAL. WHAT HAPPENED?
There’s a variety of reasons for this. It could have been an emergency that unexpectedly changed the plans of that specific brewery or an inventory issue at their warehouse.
WHERE CAN I BUY BEERS THAT I TRIED AT THE FESTIVAL?
Check the breweries’ website!
IS THERE A WAY TO KEEP TRACK OF MY FAVORITE BEERS THAT I TRY AT THE FESTIVAL?
Yes! We’ve included a tap list in our SSGB 2019 Event Passport which patrons can grab upon event entry.
WHEN WILL THE BEER LIST BE PUBLISHED?
Typically the beer list is during the week of the event.
HOW DO I GET MY BREWERY INVOLVED?

VOLUNTEERING
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MORE INFORMATION ABOUT MY VOLUNTEER ASSIGNMENT?
You’ll receive additional information in the last weeks leading up to our event.
CAN I VOLUNTEER WITH MY FRIENDS?
Absolutely!
WHAT WILL I RECEIVE AS A VOLUNTEER?
You’ll receive a t-shirt and tickets to SSGB. Session 1 volunteers will be granted a complimentary ticket for the second session into the festival. Session 2 volunteer will be given a complimentary ticket to SSGB 2020.
WHAT WILL I BE RESPONSIBLE FOR AS A VOLUNTEER?
Volunteers will either be responsible for helping operations, icing down beer, or helping out at the gates.
